Zwerchhau
German (“Thwart Blow”) A horizontal or right-to-left “cross cut” (also a “slanting cut”) made from either side. A horizontal-strike to displace downward blows from above. One of the Meisterhau. Also called Zwerch, Zwer Twerehaw, Twerchhau, or Geschrenckt Ort. Zwer = Thwart
